Miss World country rankings
The following is similar to an Olympic medal table, that includes every country and territory that has placed in the Miss World pageant,〔(【引用サイトリンク】work=Miss World )〕 based on all results from the first edition in 1951 to the most recent competition in 2014.
Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belize, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Myanmar, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Cook Islands, Cote d'Ivoire, Cyprus, Dominica, El Salvador, Fiji, Macedonia FYRO, Gambia, Greenland, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guernsey, Hawaii, Honduras,Isle of Man, Jersey, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lesotho, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Madagascar, Malawi, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Northern Marianas, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Serbia, Slovenia, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Maarten, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Suriname, Syria, Tonga, Turks & Caicos, Uganda, U.S.S.R., US Virgin Islands, Western Samoa and Zambia have all entered the Miss World pageant, but never placed.
Notes:
*At Miss World 1951, 21 of the 26 contestants were from the UK, with three placing in the top 5. All three are included in the above totals.
*The winner of Miss World 1974 was Miss United Kingdom (Helen Morgan), who resigned and was replaced by her runner-up Miss South Africa (Anneline Kriel). The winner of Miss World 1980 was Miss Germany (Gabriella Brum), who also resigned and was replaced by her runner-up Miss Guam (Kimberley Santos). All four are listed as winners in the above table.
*One of the three winners from the United States, Miss World 1973 (Marjorie Wallace), was fired after six months but never officially replaced.
